Two weeks after his parents were arrested by Carlos and Mr. Reyes, Buck receives a letter from his mother. He makes the decision to take it to his therapist. Little did he know of the changes that would soon come

Buck is spiraling, he knows he is. "Spiral up," his therapist had been telling him. Yeah, sure, he could totally do that from his current position circling the drain. Or, TK, Carlos, and the rest of the 126 are in LA for a first responders convention where they get a chance to reunite with the 118 family. The team is upset and disappointed in Bucks decision so they all decide to ignore him when he returns to work, especially Eddie who was hurt by the lawsuit. The team goes out to drink after their shift without Buck who also happened to go for a drink to drown his sorrows, when he sees his team celebrating a win without him, it crushes his soul so decides to leave the bar. Outside waiting for him, are two large men who had their eyes on buck for awhile. Will Buck be able to overcome his trauma? Will he open up to his team? What will Eddie do once he finds out the love of his life was hurt?
