Though Meliodas doesn't show it, he loves her very much and wants to protect her, forever. And as much a Elizabeth wants to tell him how she feels, she didn't have the courage to tell him. But, Elizabeth couldn't stay any longer. Her father requests that she comes back to the castle and continues her duty as a princess.
