This organic being was a clone of Sonic using his DNA to create the perfect life form of overwhelming strength and will. However, due to him being a clone, he didn't desire to be kept in a cage and a slave, and Sonic's DNA within him craved freedom. After a crushing defeat, Mecha finally snapped and decided to leave the Eggman Empire to find his own path. This eventually led him to a confrontation with Sonic, the original, which allowed him to come to a realization and understand what he truly wanted. He was Sonic and now he wanted one thing to become the most powerful being in the universe.

Sonic the Hedgehog, a franchise with plenty of debated Eras and even more Continuities, some far more dangerous then others for an isekai victim as human as the egg-headed main antagonist himself with no super-intelligence or cheats or systems to speak of. Just meta-knowledge, lots of it, and by extension, plenty he can do with it. Sonic Films? Fine. Sonic X, Boom, and Prime? Manageable. Gameverse? Dicey, but doable. Archie and Fleetway Comics?
