When Evella Hexwood runs away from home she feels betrayed by her father, her family. A year after she runs away she has two jobs, one of which, might not be legal. One day as she was running from the scene of the crime a guard she seems to recognise manages to catch her... Thomas Fernsby is a crook but only because he has to take care of his father who is ill and no other place that pays enough would hire him, he would much rather be around books but that doesn't earn enough money to pay for medicine and doctor bills. He was in disguise as a guard trying to steal some money for his fathers medicine, when he runs into a girl. This is my first ever book, so I'm sorry if it's not great, has typos, bad grammar or terrible spelling :)
