Sonic used to have a normal, happy life, but things somehow turned upside down for him when he was assaulted, which caused him to lose his only friend/rivals. Forced into witness protection and disappeared entirely. Five years later, Sonic felt like a bad omen had been trailing him since that day, bringing nothing but misfortune throughout his life. She swiftly returned the blaster behind her shirt and went to stroke her child's quills back; each stroke made Maurice more sleepy until he eventually passed out into another intoxicated sleep. Things were plain but Sonic was still broken but he was hateful towards those who hurt him in the past. He changed his appearance and moved far away to a little bit old London (a little modern) style town selling good medicine for the people and working for the psychiatrist. When people (Knuckles, his family, and friends) from his past 'somehow found him' come to make things right, Sonic turns them away. Will Sonic give them a chance? Or will he just hate them for everything they did in the past?
