17-year-old Lailac, once left home-alone, heard a knock on the door and a police man informed her that her parents and twin sister-Layla-have been in a car accident and is currently in hospital. The police man told her to call someone who can take care of her for the time being. She calls her aunt Lizzie-her mom's older sister- and she goes to their house till her family is discharged from the hospital. And slowly some of her family's secrets get explored by her cousin Ava and her cousin's friend-Ayden.
