(Completed) When Arden Brooks takes a leap of faith to transfer to NYU with her best friend, Ava, their housing tuition falls through. The financial aid department was supposed to take care of it before the semester began, but they didn't, and now, they have nowhere to go. Arden's family is all the way back home in Michigan, and she's currently in New York City with Ava being the only person she knows. Fortunately, her best friend's dad, Hugh Jackman, offers them a place to stay with him until their housing situation gets sorted out. The thing is Arden has never met Hugh before, and now she has to share an apartment with him. She thinks it'll be fine. It'll be like living with her own parents, except it's not like that at all. Because Hugh is a very single, very attractive older man. He has only improved with age. Like a vintage that gets better with time. It doesn't help that he's tall and goofy - exactly Arden's type. But, Hugh is strictly off limits. He is her best friend's dad. He's also a whole 20 years older than her. The thing is Arden can only deny her attraction to him for so long, because the longer she lives with him, the harder it is to stay away, especially when those feelings are mutual. (Complete) A possible future tethered by the hands of a watch that can't be controlled. ... Kinsley Hale's grandpa has an obsession with clocks - analog, cuckoo, pendulum. If you can name it, odds are he has it. For his 80th birthday, Kinsley wants to get him something special. Something one of a kind. So, she visits an antique shop. Nothing screams unique quite like old, dusty collectables, and she comes across a beautiful piece - a wornout leather wristwatch encrusted with deep blue stones. It's perfect. Until she finds herself unexpectedly transported from present day New York to Australia in 1994. Thrown completely off guard by dial-up internet, grunge music, and the rise of digital media, she struggles to navigate an era where a young Hugh Jackman has yet to experience fame. Fascinated with his raw talent and magnetic charm, Kinsley finds herself falling for him as she tries to figure out a way back home without changing what happens in the future. Even small actions in the past could alter the course of history, and if she can't keep her emotions in check, she's going to jeopardize everything Hugh is working towards. That leaves her with a heart-wrenching decision when she learns the truth behind the watch. She has to choose between saying goodbye to the man she loves or destroying his dreams.

(Completed) True love blossoms in adversity. Zara Kings just didn't expect it to happen with her favorite teacher. ... All throughout high school, Zara Kings only ever had one friend - her substitute teacher, Mr. Hugh Jackman. None of her peers ever gave her the time of day. She was too weird. Too awkward. However, Mr. Jackman saw straight through that when he became the permanent substitute in her P.E. class. He saw her for who she was - a mature and intelligent girl with academic goals she never shared with anyone. Not until him. Hugh took on the mantle of becoming her mentor. He encouraged her, supported her every endeavor, and had faith she would accomplish her goals and so much more. But, that was all it was - a purely platonic and professional relationship. And once she graduated, of course, they lost touch. Now, 10 years later, they unexpectedly reconnect at an entrepreneur convention. Except this time, Zara and Hugh are no longer student and teacher. They're both adults, and their past dynamic shifts into new territory. They must learn to navigate these new feelings and attraction, or surrender to the fear of what others might think when they learn of how they met. If only it was that simple, because no matter what they do, they somehow always find their way right back to each other.

(Complete) Technology is foolproof. It's the user that always makes the mistakes, and Erin Thatcher just made a huge one. ... Becoming an author has gotten quite a bit easier. You can do it all on your own with the help of third-party publishing platforms, like Zonie. At least, that's the plan for Erin. A perfectionist at heart, she wants to make sure that her novel is nothing short of that. To do that, she has to share her writing with others, which is no simple feat. Hiring a beta-reader is way out of her comfort zone, but she's willing to overcome her anxieties of worst case scenarios. She's already begun volunteering at U of T and met an amazing group of people who have the same passions she does. They give her the inspiration she needs to hire Avi Sutherland. Everything is going perfectly when they meet up at Noir Cafe to discuss what the next draft should be like and electronically sends Avi a copy of her work. That is until two days later when Avi tells her that she never received it. Erin accidentally SkyDropped her book to the wrong person. Now some stranger has her work, and there's no getting it back. If you told her that person was Hugh Jackman? Well, she'd call you a genius in the most sarcastic way ever.
