Claire has spent every summer living next door to the Fishers and Conklins. Claire has also spent every summer gawking at Conrad Fisher, waiting for the day that he notices her as more then his moms best friends daughters best friend. The day has finally come that Conrad sees her, or possibly he sees her pain. He recognizes the darkness in her eyes and wants nothing more then to be the one to make it shine.
