In this short story, Nick awakes in his loft with the awareness that something isn't right. As he tries to solve the problems that confront him, he and Trubel discover the essential ingredients to simple happiness - family, friends, and food... This story takes place around season 5 episode 6, Wesen Nacht. If you don't want spoilers, wait until you watch the end of 506 before reading. At this point in time, Trubel had just gotten out of the hospital and was staying with Nick in his loft. She also knew that she hadn't killed Juliette when she shot her with the crossbow, but was keeping the secret from Nick.

This is two years after Juliette's death. No Adalind and baby Kelly this time.

(Warning: This is mostly about Trubel, but features every member of the Scooby gang! If you aren't a huge fan of Trubel, you probably won't like this so much). I'm not finished with it yet, but so far, it's been a blast to write. I'm trying to write it using first-person perspectives (Nick's POV, Adalind's POV, and some new guys' POV).
