after bringing sasuke uchiha back to konoha naruto uzumaki was mercilessly banished from the hidden leaf village by his estranged father minato namikaze which fueled him with sadness, anger and betrayal so he left the village behind forever then two and a half years later naruto's estranged family were all killed by madara uchiha who was secretly minato's former pupil obito uchiha so tsunade senju was appointed as the fifth hokage and ordered a team of leaf shinobis to go find naruto whom made quite the reputation for himself in the shinobi world.
