If they had been, however, many would've been surprised. After all, who would expect Matsukaze Tenma of all people to answer that question with ''spite''?

A little into their second year of high school, the Raimon Soccer Club were on their way to the Holy Road finals. Then the car veers off the path, and they dive into the valley, where the car rolls off the cliff into the verge, and no one survives. Kirino wakes up, and he's in Junior High again. Today is the day they meet Tsurugi Kyousuke, and Kirino doesn't know what to do. ー ※ pave the way (to tomorrow's field) 「Inazuma Eleven Go belongs to LEVEL-5.」

Everything is normal for the Raimon High School soccer team, until their first-years get a new classmate. But why does this new boy absolutely detest soccer? Why does he hate the soccer team so much? And maybe more importantly... why does he seem to know so much about them? As hidden soccer skills are revealed, Raimon will have to find out who Matsukaze Tenma really is and what he has to do with them. Easier said than done when the only one with the answers isn't willing to give them.

Just when he thought it had ended but no, it's here again and he's about to start crying for real. Ichino is also not helping because the guy decides he doesn't have enough time with it and was practically vibrating at the thought. Alpha, on the other hand, is pretty interested in this new development. Maybe he's also a bit too invested but hey, let the kid have his fun. Or Inazuma Eleven Go, time travel au.

"I'm sorry, but you won't be able to play soccer anymore." Matsukaze Tenma left everything behind after a horrid accident destroyed him. Abandoned and forsaken, Raimon's captain fell from grace and disappeared without anyone caring. "He's done for." Three years later and everyone has forgotten him. However, he hasn't forgotten them and when he returns, he'll take the world by storm.

No matter how strong Matsukaze Tenma is, he's still human. What really goes on in his head during Raimon's fights? How much stress can he take before shattering? As he is pushed closer to the breaking point, is there anyone who can save him from the darkness? Because no matter what everyone wants to believe, not even Tenma is invincible and eventually he'll be pushed over the edge.

In which Raimon worries, Tenma keeps dismissing his own well-being - he should stop doing that - and lots of people start to notice the very concerning bruises. And no, it doesn't actually reassure them when they find out what the real problem is - after all, Tenma doesn't let it stop him from doing stupid things (which he definitely should, in his friends' humble opinions).
