Long ago, there was a village of vikings on a small island known as Berk, which suffered weekly, sometimes even nightly raids from fire breathing dragons. However the chief's wife, Valka, believed peace was possible between the Vikings and Dragons but no one believed her. During a terrible raid, she was taken by a dragon that showed signs of kindness. However she wasn't the only one taken since she grabbed her infant, Hiccup Haddock the Third, to keep him away from a fire started by the dragon who was startled by her husband. Unfortunately she couldn't grab her other son, a toddler, in time and he was left behind with his father. Over the years, the boy grew up hating dragons and counted down the days until he could join the warriors in battle, defending his village and avenging his brother and mother. However his father always kept him inside the forge during raids in fear of losing the only family he had left. There, the boy became a bit of an inventor as well as a decent blacksmith. However all of that changed when one night, using one of his inventions, he shot down the most dangerous and mysterious dragon in the entire Archipelago. The Night Fury...

I made this because I feel like not everyone brings justice to the whole idea of 'Villain Hiccup' sooooo I made this Merciless,ruthless and powered by anger Is what drives the infamous Helbringer, leaving his so called tribe for something bigger, better and daring. Just so one day he can return but not as the 'useless runt', 'screwup' they remember but as someone they FEAR Please this is my first time ever writing a story like this so bare with me, give me all your hate and love so I know what I can do to improve ENJOY

Hiccup H. Haddock didn't grow up as a Berkian Viking. Cast off to see as a baby, and raised by pirates. When he is found floating and half dead in Berkian waters, he is rescued my Stoic the Vast. Essentially trapped, the young pirate seeks to find a way off the Island, and in this he meets a Nightfury.

Hiccup Haddock has always been the outcast of Berk he was the runt of the village he is Skinny meanwhile everyone else is bulky he is short everyone else is tall he was physically weak but logically strong and everyone else is physically strong and logically weak in most points besides survival and battle so he never fit in while everyone else is battling dragons when they come to attack the village he's forced into the forge to help Gobber the man he sees as an Uncle and his Dad Stoick the Vast sees Hiccups Cousin Snotlout son of his mother's brother Spitelout as a better viking and suddenly hiccup is forced into a competition to prove he's worthy of his birthright as Heir to his Father's throne as chief or else it'll go to Snotlout

Ye well, this is my take on the Hiccup runaway stories. Yk the story, he's the runt of the village, no one loves him until he gets good at dragon training out of nowhere. 3 years after his apparent death, there are rumours of a masked vigilante. No one knows their origin or identity. But he is a danger to viking life as we know it. Berk decides to go out searching for an alliance, but in a turn of events, Astrid is shipwrecked onto an island she presumed was uninhabited... it wasn't. What will she do when she comes face to face with her mortal enemy? Who may not be as bad as she thinks.
