The shadow began to move slowly, becoming clearer and clearer. Her heart pounded wildly in her chest, ready to jump out. She closed her eyes, preparing for the worst, when she heard a soft, whispering voice right next to her ear: "Welcome to the endgame, Pippa. I guess you didn't expect it to end like this, did you?"
