Through this process, Simone met the men she would be stationed with, being those of the 100th Bomb Group. They all seemed okay in Simone's opinion- except for one, that is. John D. Brady, the bane of her existence- he was insufferable, always cranky, and for some reason hated her before she could even have a real conversation with him. The hatred was mutual, of course- however, the hatred was quick to morph into something different, something more friendly after the two encountered near-death situations.
