His eyes were blood shot, filled to the brink with tears and blood. He didn't bother to prevent them from falling down his face. Pelle let the back of his head rest against the door and opened his mouth to speak, but no words could form. Instead, he choked back sobs, scared she would hear them from the other side of the door, where she sat. Dead tried to take a deep breath but at this point, he didn't know if the air around him was real. Pressing his palms against the cool floor, blood dripped from his wounds and pooled around him. The stench of death surrounded him, something he once loved but now he hated. The smell was no longer coming from animals, but from he himself. Reminding him of his prolonged existence. How could he explain what he felt to her? Up until now, he wasn't even sure if he could feel. "Elise-" His voice broke. "Why can't I die?" She felt tears prick her eyes. "Pelle, why can't you live?" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary: Elise, on the run from a troubled past, finds herself hiding out in a secluded house surrounded by woods in Oslo with little knowledge of the previous owners. No explanation is given on what is causing his reincarnation, from spirit to corpse, but he thinks he does have an idea behind it. Love. He is becoming the living dead. But what happens when Euronymous takes interest in Elise and her past secrets come back to haunt her? Will she come in the way of Varg and Euronymous and save Pelle this second time around?
