Midoriya Izuku has been set back further than any other point in his life. If All-Might says he cant be a Hero, what chance does he have? He has to give up and move forward. No matter the pain... An extensive knowledge of Heroes and their world has its uses elsewhere. However, can he truly abandon that need to be a Hero? Can he deny himself that? Or will he give to his compulsion? It was dark out. It was dangerous, and there was a terrified victim who needed saving every time he turned around. There was no money, and there was fame, no cameras. Just the whispers, the rumors, the conspiracies. Which meant, of course, that there were no heroes. Izuku was alone. Really, he'd been alone for years, ever since he learned he had no quirk. Now, though, he couldn't bring himself to follow after Bakugo's back, bravely proclaiming his goal to the world and facing the scorn with determination. Because he knew now, for an inescapable fact, that he didn't want to be a hero. Heroism, after all, is what got his mother killed. The event awakened something in him, something that might have been a quirk. His obsession with quirk analysis and heroes, after all, was not normal. But, heroism as a profession had its limits. All he had ever wanted was to save people, help them however he can. And sometimes, he'd found, the law just got in the way. He didn't hate the laws, or the police force that enforced it, but he now understood very personally there was no "one size fits all" set of rules when it came to suffering. In name, he supposed, he'd become a villain. He found he didn't care. Because in practice, he saved lives, he stopped the suffering of those who needed him, and he was there when no one else could be. And that's what makes a hero, no matter what anyone else tells him.

You can't save everyone. (Y/N) learned that lesson long before he ever set foot in U.A. His mother's incurable illness, his father's endless overtime, the empty promises of heroes who couldn't fix what truly mattered to him. He was an only child, and an extremely late bloomer. When his quirk finally awakened, he wanted to make sure no one had to feel powerless like he once did. His quirk "Polarity", gave him the ability to generate and manipulate magnetic fields. A quirk than can be as destructive as it is creative. __________________________________________________________________________________ The main love interest is Mina Ashido. Y/N L/N doesn't care about heroes or villains. And could care less about most people. And to his discomfort he always seems to have the spotlight on him thanks to his super strong quirk. This is not the story of a hero, rather of one about a shut in trying to keep his sanity... ENJOY!

Technology. A simple word, isn't it? Well... Not really. It can be anything. Your phones, your PC, or any other device you're using to read this description. BUT... It doesn't end there. Televisions, radios, refrigerators, ovens, blah blah blah, the list goes on and on. Pretty cool, huh? Well, now, let's think of technology in a fictional world. Or even better, a fictional world, where people have gone through mutations in their very genes, giving them specific "inhumane" abilities... Coined as "quirks". In the light of such mutations, people started to bring their dreams to realities, and the concept of "heroes" and "villains" came up. Such genetic mutations spread all around and now, the mutated people, or, "quirked" people, make up about 80 percent of all human life on this fricking earth! Getting back to the point, technology surely has MUCH MORE influence and practical use in this world. Now, imagine the power to control this technology. Or, having a quirk that allows you to do so. Let's join each other and follow the journey of a young man named Y/N Colomar, who has this specific quirk. Like any other kid his age, he wants to be a hero. He just wants to help others, and see people's smiles at the end of the day. The only issue is... The dude is a complete shy introvert. Best rankings: 01/08/2024: #1 in #malereaderinsert

In a world where power defines worth, Izuku Midoriya was destined to be nothing. Quirkless. Weak. Forgotten. But fate is not so kind, and the world's cruelty only sharpened his mind, reforged his will, and set ablaze a fire that would never die. Once, he dreamed of heroism. Now, he redefines it. As Dark Phoenix, he rises-a symbol of the forsaken, a nightmare for the powerful, and the catalyst for a revolution that will tear society apart. His battle is not just against villains but against a system built to erase him. And standing in his way? His own blood. Izumi Yagi, daughter of All Might. The sister who swore they'd rise together. The hero who refuses to let him fall. In the end, it is not just Mind vs Might. It is brother vs sister. Dream vs reality. Revolution vs order. And when the flames die down... There will be no heroes left.
