Trying to understand the unknown is already a difficult thing, especially when the unknown is doing everything it can to remain veiled. Avery Jameson, an aspiring cryptozoologist, is given an opportunity to use her skills to study and document the unknown. However, what she believed to have been her dream job would end up becoming her worst nightmare, because little did she know that she would become the vessel for the biggest containment breach in the history of the Initiative. -----Disclaimer----- The Nexus Initiative is heavily inspired by the SCP Foundation, however no characters or anomaly concepts have been directly copied from it. All art is made my me, and no AI was used in the creation of any drawings or the story itself. This story will also include detailed depictions of extreme violence (both physical and psychological), death, probably a bit of swearing, body horror(both human and inhuman), horrific stuff in general, and also political/military commentary. A secret government organisation created to study abnormal entities, but what would happen if the most dangerous entity caused a mass breach in the main containment facility? A story that follows a junior researcher of the Nexus Initiative whose first week of work didn't go as planned, she quickly has to learn the ways to survive the breach and possibly discover its cause with the help of others she meets along the way. The Nexus Initiative is heavily inspired by the SCP Foundation and follows a similar idea, no characters/anomalous creatures will be copied directly from SCP.
