Prequel (short). Queen Jiso announces Princess Sookmyung's therapeutic leave, and it's the hot topic among the people of Silla. She's hidden the king and is now sending the princess away. What will become of their nation with such a corrupt ruler? Meanwhile, all the princess can think about is the whereabouts of her brother King Jinheung. She's run out of time to investigate before she leaves and she hasn't been able to obtain any information. All she knows is that her mother is behind all of it. Time runs out and Sookmyung has no choice but to give up - at least for now. During her leave, Princess Sookmyung reconnects with an old friend and falls in love. When the time comes to return back home, she must choose between joining her family back in Silla and marrying with the man she loves.

This story is similar to the story of Mulan, that will be set in the Hwarang world, although I do not own that or any characters in either stories. This story is about (Y/N), a peasant that lives outside the capitol of Silla. When her father is chosen to go and join the queens Hwarang group of soldiers, she takes her fathers gear and goes as his "son" in his place. Ps. I know that the Hwarang weren't chosen like that, but it just fit the my story. Ps pt 2: some things in either story will be changed to fit each other in a way that's nice to read. Thanks for reading!
