Regina doesn't have any issues. Definitely not. She doesn't commit, but it's not an issue. She doesn't like herself, but it's not an issue, because in her line of work she doesn't have to be herself. While working this particular case in a quaint town called Storybrooke as an undercover agent, Regina investigates her "boyfriend", who incidentally got them a new roommate while she was on a stakeout. Emma Swan sees immediately through Regina's persona, jeopardizing everything she's worked for.

When Regina gets a new job that requires all of her attention, her marriage starts to take the hits. I don't own any of the characters. Once Upon A Time Regina and Emma were high school sweethearts, but faced a few misunderstandings which led to a harsh split. Emma ran off to the military and then to New York, leaving Regina stuck in Storybrooke. The two meet again at a class reunion, where things change, and are not as they seem.
