During my deep thinkink, the tv stated making that fog horn type noise, waking me up from my trance. The news was on, with the alert reading across the screen. "TAKE COVER, STAY IN HOMES. LOCK DOORS, STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS" i lay amelia in her bed, out of my lap. I lock the windows and the doors. When i came back, i missed whatever the alert was about...i should have waited. That mistake changed my life forever...

The worst thing is feeling alone in a room full of people. To not have someone to separate the real world from your imagination. Being alone when you desperately need comfort from another person. James Larsen and Skylar Evans desperately needed comfort. Of course, they didn't know what the other was going through at the time. James thought of Skylar as the girl with the perfect family. Skylar thought of James as the guy who doesn't appreciate what he has. Who knew a simple hand-to-hand gesture would make all of their problems come at bay.
