So this is my fourth Harry Potter Marriage Law story. I've done a Snamione one, Remione and Dramione. I've also done a story where Hermione was with both Weasley twins. But this is different from all of them. It's set after the war and Ron is dead along with Remus, Tonks and Umbitch (sorry typo, I meant Umbridge). But the Weasley twins are alive along with Colin Creevey and Lavender Brown who is now a werewolf. Anyway like always the wizard population was low on numbers and created a marriage law to help build numbers. Hermione gets paired with George Weasley. Read to find out how they fall in love.

Two years after the demise of Voldemort, the lives of those who had survived the Second Wizarding War become changed forever when Minister for Magic Kingsley Shackelbolt enacts a marriage law, forcing those who are eligible to marry and conceive a child within two years. This is set after the war, Voldemort is dead as is Bellatrix Lestrange. All the deatheaters have been given trials and are either in Azkaban or doing community service. Like the Malfoys who are helping rebuild the school. Severus Snape survived the war and was cleared on all charges thanks to a hidden letter Dumbledore had left. The wizarding population suffered a huge decline. So bad that the ministry has made a law to repopulate the wizarding world, a marriage law. What happens when Hermione Granger is paired with Severus Snape?

Ministry of Magic decree 47207572; The Marriage Law ~All subjects have 4 months to get married and then 5 months after that to get pregnant. ~Tests have been done on all subjects between the ages of 17 and 27. ~All subjects have been matched with other Wizards/ Witches or muggle families that know of the wizarding world ~Most subjects are paired by who they will be most successful reproducing with. Minor setbacks and medical problems have occurred ~Several subjects have no ability to reproduce and have therefore been taken out of the running for the law - letters already sent out to notify subjects ~Several subjects also still suffer from the after effects of the war, some crippling the subjects enough so their sent to St. Mungos or are hospitalized permanently for said injuries ~One particular pair of subjects have been previously married and now are separated but not divorced, still waiting for the decision on that matter. Media problems could occur if we follow through with the divorce and word gets out, and yet the same thing could be said if we keep the subjects together Three month overview for subject 3A47-D36 Hermione Granger-Weasley has shown extreme anger over her partner for this law, no attempts have been made to reproduce. Both subjects have gotten physically injured fighting with each other, to the point where Mrs Granger-Weasley was hospitalized. No wedding has been consummated to my knowledge. I believe that their previous relationship is keeping them apart. I have decided that they will renew vows within the month. Whether that will work out we shall see... "You know what I think?" Harry leaned across the table. "I think you're afraid. You don't take risks like us Gryffindors." He scoffed. "Please, you Gryffindors are all wand-waving and no spell." Harry grinned, settling back into his seat. "Not me. I always follow through." "Prove it." Harry stood up and walked around the table. He leaned over Draco, one hand no his chair and the other on the table. Their faces were a mere inch apart, so close that Draco could see flecks of brown in his emerald eyes. "I don't see any follow-through," Draco taunted. And then Harry kissed him. Harry's hands fell to his shoulders so quickly that Draco teetered on his seat. Draco reached up and grabbed Harry's shirt in an attempt to catch his balance which resulted in the two boys falling to the ground with Harry on top. Harry's cheeks were red with embarrassment as he tried to get up. All he managed to do was knee Draco in the leg. Draco put his hands on Harry's hips. "Stop. Let me." In one fluid motion, Draco flipped them around so he was kneeling above Harry. "And for future reference," Draco smirked, bringing his lips down to brush against his. "I'm always on top."
