Marinette is tired of her class. They have been bullying her for three years. Lila has almost full filled her promise. But her true friends have stayed by her side. She had to bench Chat after he attacked her. The only good thing besides finding her true friends is that her fashion dream is starting to come true. Bruce Wayne and Lex Luther are offering an all payed trip to Gotham and Metropolis for the class that writes the best essay. Marinette wins, while there she hopes for a break but will she find something more?

Marinette is the Star of the Order of the Miraculous, the still-in-training head, as well as the True Ladybug leading the Court of Miracles. After years at Hawkmoth's mercy, Marinette has decided that enough is enough and is reaching out to Batman, the detective of detectives to help her track down the villian's true identity. What better way to do this than a field trip to Gotham? Damian, the bloodson and heir to both the Cowl and the Demon's Head, wants nothing to do with the French Class who has won the Wayne Enterprises Summer Internship, yet his father insists he needs better interpersonal skills. He supposes it won't kill him to try to work with this supposedly skilled class president if it means that everyone will get off his back for being 'aggressively asocial' (although he will still keep NDAs on standby). A seal of fate, a blood right, and a hidden prophecy lead Marinette and Damian on a rollercoaster of emotions, humourous misunderstandings, and comeuppance -- and marriage?! ___ Basically my attempt at a soulmate AU, full of just about every Damianette cliche and trope I can think of. Marinette Dupain-Cheng is isolated by her friends and classmates. They believed the new girl Lila Rossi who told them lies about Marinette being a bully. Only Chloe Bougieos doesn't believe her words. Chloe had known Marinette since they were kids when she went with her dad to New York to visit her mom. Marinette was a child prodigy who had her own clothing line and boutique at the age of 7. Marinette was also the only apprentice of Gabriel Agreste and of her mother Audrey Bougieos. Although she had all the fame and glory one could ask for, Marinette wanted a normal life so she decided to live with her distant relatives. She had informed Chloe and other influencial people who knew her to act as if they were strangers on their first meeting. And this was how she started living in paris.
