A sudden crash of thunder illuminates the alleyway, and that's when he sees it-a small box tucked against the cold, wet brick wall. A tiny hand peeks out. Hyunjin's breath catches in his throat. His heart pounds as he steps closer, shoes splashing through puddles. He pulls the damp blanket back-and freezes. Inside the box lies a barely moving baby, shivering and pale, its breathing so shallow it's almost nonexistent. Panic surges through Hyunjin's veins as his hands tremble over the frail infant. Then he sees it-a small sticky note, soaked and crumpled but still readable. "Haneul." His throat tightens. Someone abandoned this baby. Left him out here to die. Without hesitation, Hyunjin scoops the fragile baby into his arms, wrapping him tightly in the wet blanket. He holds Haneul against his chest, shielding him from the merciless downpour, and runs. He doesn't think about what comes next-just keeping the baby alive. And when he bursts into the penthouse, dripping water all over the pristine floors, the last thing he expects is to lock eyes with Felix-his rival-turned-roommate-whose shock turns to concern in seconds. Now? Hyunjin's stuck raising a baby. With Lee Felix. And neither of them have a clue how to take care of a child. They hate each other. They can't stand each other. But this child... this tiny, abandoned baby named Haneul... might just be the one thing that changes everything.

Les produits de beauté qu'il collectionne, ses vieux vêtements chinés, tout cela le renvoie à des morceaux d'une personne qu'il ne reconnaît plus. Coincé dans une prison de néons pendant ses nuits de travail et perdu dans ses rêves d'art, il se laisse engloutir par un hiver intérieur, où aucun sentiment ne semble germer. Au fil des saisons, il apprend à endurer la solitude et à accepter la transformation que la douleur impose, jusqu'à ce qu'il découvre enfin la lumière.

« - Hyunjin, est ce que vous pourriez nous parler de cette photo ? » Cette phrase, ainsi que ce vulgaire bout de papier, c'est tout ce qu'il aura fallu pour plonger les Stray Kids, et plus particulièrement Hyunjin, dans une véritable descente aux enfers. Les protagonistes ne m'appartiennent nullement, uniquement l'intrigue dans laquelle je les fais se développer.
