If you've ever watched the young adult drama, All American Homecoming, this is my spin on the events that occur starting from the last 5ish minutes of Season 1, Episode 8. I still follow the outline of the show, and loosely use some of the verbiage from the show as well, but I explore more of the feelings/emotions involved (romantic, platonic, and familial). Some chapters are Rated Mature. Other than this comment and having the story marked Mature, there won't be a forewarning. I want to maintain the element of surprise. If you're not familiar with the show, here is a brief description: The show follows tennis hopeful, Simone Hicks, and MLB prospect, Damon Sims, and their group of friends/family as they begin their freshman year at the prestigious Bringston University in Atlanta. Simone decides to find her way back to tennis, hoping to go pro one day, while Damon leaves his MLB prospection behind (temporarily) to help save the Bringston baseball team, and to learn more about himself as a young adult. Both go through many challenges, but often lean on each other and their Bringston friends/family along the way. All of the chapters are named after R&B(ish) songs just like the show does irl.
