What if when Rose absorbed the TARDIS energy she became a time lord, unknowingly. The TARDIS changed her DNA because only a Time Lord could handle such power. (And the TARDIS liked her because she made The Doctor happy) What happens when she realizes this and becomes more determined to get back to the other demention, with the help of the human Doctor will she get back to her love?
