"Love me while I'm still breathing." Orm Kaede has spent most of her life inside the white walls of Room 308, her body failing her little by little to a rare illness no one knows how to cure. She laughs anyway, at the tubes, at the silence, at the way hope keeps sneaking back even when it shouldn't. Dr. Ling Vienne, thirty-two, is the hospital's calmest storm, a palliative care physician who's learned never to get attached. Her hands heal what they can, her heart stays out of reach. When Ling becomes Orm's attending doctor, humor meets restraint, warmth meets distance and somewhere between IV lines and midnight checkups, something forbidden begins to bloom. A story about love that arrives too late, laughter that hides fear, and the impossible wish of a girl who just wanted to be loved before she couldn't breathe anymore.

She was the daughter of the most powerful man in the Bangkok police force. She lived in the light - loved, protected, safe. Lingling Kwong was the queen of the underground. A ghost, a legend, a nightmare. They called her The Joker - a face no one had ever seen, a name no one dared to speak. But when the police arrest her right-hand man, she doesn't start a war. She takes something far more valuable - the Commissioner's daughter. What begins as revenge turns into something neither of them expected. Hate melts into curiosity. Fear turns into connection. A hostage becomes a heartbeat. But love means weakness - And weakness is something The Joker can never afford.

Prologue - The Memory Between Us They said time would heal her. But two years later, Ling was still staring out the glass window of her penthouse, fingers wrapped around a cold mug of coffee she never finished. CEO. Heiress. Fiancée to a ghost. Her world ended once... And then again, when she was forced to marry someone who wasn't even hers to begin with. The vows weren't meant for her. The dress wasn't either. But the name on the marriage certificate? Ling Ling Kwong. And the bride beside her? Orm. Her sister's fiancée. It was supposed to be temporary. A contract. Just one year to protect the family name and walk away. But no one told her love doesn't follow contracts. And no one warned her how cruel memory could be. Because just when Ling finally opened her heart again... Orm forgot everything. Forgot their laughter. Their fights. Their promises. Forgot her. And now, Ling wasn't sure she had the strength to lose her all over again. DISCLAIMER This story is purely fictional. It has no connection to real-life events, individuals, or entities, whether living or deceased. Any similarities are purely coincidental and unintentional. Ling Ling Kwong & Orm Kornnaphat, of course, are lovely girls and not as the characters mentioned in this fanfiction. Remember, this is a fanfiction! She was supposed to return to Bangkok to marry her fiancée after signing away a quiet town for redevelopment. She never made it. After a car crash on the outskirts of nowhere, the heir to a ruthless real estate empire vanishes-no name, no memory, no trace of who she used to be. In a fading seaside inn, she's taken in by Orm-a struggling actress from Bangkok, sent by her father to help her aunt keep the property afloat. Neither of them knows that the quiet stranger helping repair shutters and watching the tide come in is the very woman whose company is trying to demolish the place. But the days turn tender. The silence grows warm. And slowly, Ing becomes someone else-someone softer. Someone Orm might be falling for. But memory doesn't ask for permission.
It comes back in boardrooms, in power suits, in names that carry weight like weapons. But Orm won't go down without a fight. Because it was Ling who once taught her how to fight. And now, even if Ling doesn't remember her-Orm remembers everything. 如果你看过台湾偶像剧,你就会知道灵感来自哪里 🤌🏼

Orm didn't believe she could ever lose Lingling, until well, she realised she was about to lose Lingling. A story with some angst, some humor and lots of love. I'll try to throw in here as much as I can! The usual disclaimer for everyone who enjoys reading LingOrm fanfic: This story is not real!! Please, let's ship mindfully and let's attempt to stay out of the psych ward. There might be references to actual events/situations that happened in real life, but again, this is all fiction. In reality, our girls are best buddies and we love them as they are, right?! This is my first attempt to write a fanfic, so please provide some feedback, if you find it rubbish don't feel shy and tell me, I will stop the writing and go back to quietly shipping *mindfully* between work breaks. English is not my first language, so my apologies for any potential mistake. Peace and Love Purple Fandom Jokers :)

The engagement was never supposed to happen. But after a viral video, a media frenzy, and a carefully worded press release, Ling and Orm find themselves at the center of Thailand's biggest love story. Perfect on paper, untouchable on-screen, and utterly incompatible behind closed doors. Their job is simple: look in love, act in love, sell the love. It's fine. It's all fine.

Ling Ling Kwong, a cold-hearted 17-year-old, no longer believes in love. Once, she gave everything to the girl she loved - her trust, her time, even her heart. But all she received in return was betrayal. She had only used her for her family's wealth, leaving her broken and guarded. Coming from one of the richest families in Bangkok, Ling Ling now hides her pain behind a wall of pride as she enters her family's own senior high school. On the other side is Orm Kornnaphat, also seventeen, a new transfer student. Innocent, smart, and soft-hearted, she tries to stay cheerful despite being bullied and called a "nerd." Behind her bright smile is a fragile heart - a crybaby who gets hurt easily but never lets go of kindness. Two girls. Two different worlds. One scarred by betrayal, the other fighting to stay strong. What will happen when fate brings them together in the same school, the same grade?
