To say she was socially awkward was an under-statement. She spent most of her time on her black laptop in her room, listening to music or writing music with her guitar. The rest of the time was school. Which sucked by the way. In school, she was the girl you would see at the back of the class, scribbling in a little notebook, completely oblivious to the world around her. But online, YouTube, she was an internet sensation. Well partically. The YouTube world knew her as the_hooded_singer, a literally hooded figure that appalled this generation/ Her name is Mandy, short for Miranda. Teachers didn’t even bother to try to call on her, because they knew she would hide her face and completely ignore them. And this was a perfect reason for people to bully her. And so they did. As much as Mandy loves music and singing, she never had the courage to go up on a stage and preform for a crowd. And she knows she will never have that courage, yet she continues to use music as her get away from life. Now meet Jason. Popular, loud, and never shy. When he moves to the small town where Mandy lives, right next to her actually, they both know life will change for them. Especially when Mandy learns Jason is a drummer, just what she needed for her songs. With them together, making new friends, making new memories and playing wherever they can, there is never going to be a dull moment.
