Over 3 years ago, the world fell into shambles after a meteor hit Earth and caused a zombie outbreak. Tallulah was just trying to survive when she stumbles upon a man. Wilbur wasn't looking for a companion, and Tallulah didn't want to be alone. Now the two have to travel together in search of a survivors' camp to drop Tallulah off at. Wilbur returns from his tour with only one person on his mind, Quackity. Quackity doesn't want anything to do with him in the way Wilbur had thought he would. Events lead to another as Wilbur learns he has hanahaki disease. A disease only cured when an unrequited love becomes requited. What will Wilbur do about this newfound disease? What will become of Wilbur Soot?
