A simple walk in the woods turns into... a battle with Amethio? But Liko's Sprigatito is quickly overwhelmed by Ceruledge. When she runs to protect her partner, Amethio nearly confronts her for her pendant, forcing Liko to flee into the forest. After Amethio had been hiding for a year on the small island he had often visited with his mother as a child, Zirc, Onia, and Liko finally found him. Amethio believed he was useless, since he no longer had either his grandfather or the Explorers by his side, and was therefore at first unwilling to take action against Spinel. But after battling Liko and seeing that she would not give up, he decided not to give up either-and to stop Spinel. Zirc and Onia handed him the Zygarde Cube, with which he was to gather the cells of his grandfather's Zygarde in order to prevent Spinel from spreading the Laquium. Amethio accepted the cube and flew into the rose-colored morning sky on his loyal flying Pokémon Corviknight-ready for the dangerous search for the Zygarde Cells that now lay ahead of him. What challenges will stand in his way? Which allies will support him, and which enemies will try to stop him? Will he succeed in the end in gathering all the Zygarde Cells and stopping Spinel? And more importantly: will he find his true self again? All rights belong to The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, and Nintendo.
