The novel depicts the plight of the French peasantry demoralized by the French aristocracy in the years leading up to the revolution, the corresponding brutality demonstrated by the revolutionaries toward the former aristocrats in the early years of the revolution, and many unflattering social parallels with life in London during the same time period. It follows the lives of several protagonists through these events. The most notable are Charles Darnay and Sydney Carton. Darnay is a former French aristocrat who falls victim to the indiscriminate wrath of the revolution despite his virtuous nature, and Carton is a dissipated English barrister who endeavors to redeem his ill-spent life out of his unrequited love for Darnay's wife. The Time Machine is a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells, published in 1895 and written as a frame narrative. Wells is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel by using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposely and selectively forwards or backward in time. The term "time machine", coined by Wells, is now almost universally used to refer to such a vehicle. The Time Machine has been adapted into three feature films of the same name, as well as two television versions, and a large number of comic book adaptations. It has also indirectly inspired many more works of fiction in many media productions.

Crime and Punishment is a novel by the Russian author Fyodor Dostoevsky. It was first published in the literary journal 'The Russian Messenger' in twelve monthly installments during 1866. Later, it was published in a single volume. It is the second of Dostoevsky's full-length novels following his return from 5 years of exile in Siberia. Crime and Punishment is considered the first great novel of his "mature" period of writing. Crime and Punishment focuses on the mental anguish and moral dilemmas of Rodion Raskolnikov, an impoverished ex-student in Saint Petersburg who formulates a plan to kill an unscrupulous pawnbroker for her money. Before the killing, Raskolnikov believes that with the money he could liberate himself from poverty and go on to perform great deeds; but confusion, hesitation, and chance muddy his plan for a morally justifiable killing. She was not born a lady, she was made one. She was not born into wealth, she was given it. Laila is a woman of the king, and she fell in love with him, the day she first met him. Whether it was the kindness he'd shown her or the charming face and body he has, the attraction was there from the start. But King Stephan is not one to reciprocate such feelings, as Laila is one of the ten women he has in his castle. If only there was a way they could grow closer...secrets, lies, pain, war...all of which tears people apart, could actually be what brings them together. *** Turning to face him, she sees his lips curling into a smile, making her heart warm and fuzzy. He slowly puts his arm around her, giving her time to refuse. When she doesn't, he pulls her against his chest. Leaning into her he whispers, "You called me by my name, back in the hallway." "I...I apologize-" "Don't...I like it." Laila feels her core clench upon hearing his words. He tilts her chin laying a kiss on her neck. Biting back her moan, she closes her eyes, feeling him suck on her skin. "Mmh!" Stephan feels her arousal placing his lips on hers, his hand traveling down pushing up her dress as he caresses her skin.* Cover by @Sachi_Stark ! ♥

《《《 SPORADIC UPDATES 》》》 Meredith and Dorian are twins to the famous Ellis Grey. Dorian is dating Mark Sloan while moving back to Seattle, Derek moves to Seattle, then Addison, and finally, Mark. Dorian has issues, not in the cliche sense. He can't handle being away from Mark. His past trauma makes it impossible for him to see past the present and picture a future. How will that play out? **the only characters I own are Dorian and Malakai (Kai) currently. Greys anatomy belongs to whoever it belongs to, definitely not me. The storyline has been changed, though, to fit the addition of new characters.** also, things will be pretty fast.** (These tags are mainly for me to keep an eye on story ratings and stuff #2 in alexkarev #20 in derekshepherd #6 in mirandabailey #4 in seattlegrace #1 in mcdreamy #42 in marksloan #10 in callietorres #4 in mcsteamy #4 in cristinayang #2 in interns #5 in lexigrey #1 in greysloanmemorial)
