Abrupt Affection

There I was swinging my pale legs nervously on the hospital bed, wondering where it happened. Could this be it? Could I be stuck with him forever? Did I want that? I don't know but what I do know is my motherthly instincts are going to kick in gear and I'm going to be the best damn mother there is for my child.
