Natasha Romanoff has had many identities in her life. A Black Widow, a Shield Agent, an Avenger, a Sister and a Friend. After the events of defeating Thanos and being brought back, Natasha has been trying to right the wrongs of her past. One of those wrongs is Y/N Komarova, a widow that Natasha trained with and who was her closest friend in the Red Room. A friend that Natasha abandoned and who is now top of Shield's Most Wanted after wreaking havoc during the Blip. Can Natasha face her past and show Y/N she isn't the enemy?

Y/n grew up in Russia, forced into the Red Room by Dreykov at a young age, she quickly became a formidable assassin. Her path then took her to Hydra, before being sold to an organised crime group, working under a woman she knows only as 'Sasha'. Her past is full of lies, deceit and red. That is, until one assignment goes wrong - and her whole world changes. This is a slow burning romance between the reader and Nat, intended to feel more realistic and fulfilling. The story is set very roughly around 2016 (but with some details changed) and is original, therefore it doesn't follow exact events from the films.
