Could his life be described as miserable?
Evelyn didn't know. He died too early to tell. He didn't know a lot of things.
To him, his life was normal. Sometimes painful, but that was also normal. The perpetual pain had numbed him, the hospital had become his home, and the nurses and doctors became the closest things he could consider family.
Second to his only real family, his parents. Mom and Dad.
Even if he couldn't see the faces of them when he was holding his last breath, the pain had already numbed him. It was okay.
It was okay. It was okay. It was really okay. He has a younger brother now, it was okay. They had someone else other than him. It was okay.
But why did they have to give him the same name? Doesn't that make his existence redundant now...?
Well, it's okay because...
He woke up and was confronted with a new world. A fresh life. And maybe this time, he'll make this really okay. He won't lie to himself; he won't ignore the pains.
