Follow Johnny Christ and Brooks Wackerman of Avenged Sevenfold as a close friendship slowly turns into love over years of touring together. Johnny, loud and chaotic around everyone else, becomes shy and vulnerable around Brooks, while Brooks grows increasingly protective and possessive of him. With constant teasing and interference from Synyster Gates and the rest of the band, the two eventually confess their feelings and begin a deeply emotional relationship. The story follows their journey through touring, moving in together, heartbreak, reconciliation, marriage, and eventually growing old together after the band retires. Across different POVs, the fanfic explores love, emotional growth, friendship, and finding a lasting sense of home in another person.
