This is the tale of Melanie, an 18 year old student, who in the search for a peaceful normality, stumbles into the violence, fear and abnormality of the lifestyle of gangs and the sordid culture adjoining to them. What happens throughout her experience can only be traced back to her, yet it seems that her world is banishing her to a land of obscure names and stress beyond her years.
