The Glade had been the same for over two years. No changes had ever occurred. The box came once a month. There was a pattern. There was order. That all changed when one day, a girl appeared. She is a genetically modified human- aided by WICKED's advanced biotechnology and cybernetics- whose genetic material has been altered by adding, changing, removing or manipulating certain DNA sequences in a way that does not occur naturally. This process was carried out to introduce a new trait or change a characteristic; such as the Flare disease which manifests itself in the brain of the host body. Director Janson wants the experiment eliminated. Dr. Jumba Jookiba pleads innocents and begs for mercy. Chancellor Ava Paige is mildly intrigued at its potential. Experiment 626 is banned into the Maze Trials for observation. The team of scientists and researchers, psych nurses and Doctors watch her closely in a controlled environment, especially when there is a mix up and she's sent to the wrong maze. ***SLOW UPDATES ***

It blends the storyline of Maze Runner books and movies, straying more towards the movies as I feel like more people have seen them. -Fem y/n with she/her pronouns -I guess explicit language lmao -Chapters are mostly 2000-4000 words This will have no smut (sorry to the people who enjoy spicy reads) as people I know irl have access to this story and I would die. (This is the 2nd part to my other story "The Maze trials: A Gally Fanfiction". This will cover the events of the scorch trails and the death cure.) --- Emi, her twin brother Thomas, and a small group of gladers had been rescued and taken to a safe haven. Or so it seemed. It doesn't take long for Thomas to realize something is wrong. What happens next is a true trial for all of them but Emi's trials began the moment she was ripped away from a dying Gally. Watching someone you love die right before your eyes truly takes a toll. Finally meeting the right arm could have been the end but betrayal leads to even more chaos and loss. A new mission to rescue those taken from them leads them to a city. The last city. After Emi finally comes to terms with everything that's happened something unfolds that changes everything again. She will have to not only deal with helping her brother take down WCKD and save their friend but also deal with all the new problems in her head and her heart.

Emi, first girl the Glade has seen. Tougher than she looks and more than ready to prove it. Since day one her and Gally have been at each other's throats. Fighting constantly and not just with their words. (Gally fanfiction which will include smut. It also has an actual story line. Think of it as an AU to the original Maze Runner. It'll mostly follow the main story line with some changes. Mostly focusing on Emi and Gally and their relationship.) ___ I did the stupidest thing and glanced towards the leader's voice. Next thing I know I was tackled to the ground with a steaming Gally on top of me. He went for my face but it was easy enough for me to block him. I had to struggle a little to fix myself enough to roll us. Once I got myself in just the right angle while blocking Gally's random throws I pushed him off me. His hands held tightly on my shirt pulling me with him. We hit a slight slope perfectly causing us to roll a few times. I made sure that when we stopped I was on top. Gally groaned when his head roughly hit the ground.

Minho would fight for her. Newt would die for her. Thomas would kill for her. Gally would burn the whole world to the ground for her. Follow the journey of Eleanor, the only female glader, as she struggles to adjust to her new life in the Glade that takes her on a journey of love, loss, and friendship. (Gally x OC) Some notes to add: The central romance plot is between Eleanor and Gally but there is a subplot of Newtmas obviously. The story is inspired by the movies only, because the lore of the books goes quite deep and I don't think I will be able to write up to a standard that honors James Dashner's amazing legacy. Also, Eleanor is named after Eleanor Roosevelt which sticks to the idea that all main characters are named after famous scientists, inventors, and activists. Finally, this will be a three-part book for each movie and just to clarify, no smut! (I don't really like writing it) Also, just acknowledging that the only original character here is Eleanor, everything else including the storyline (minus Gally x Eleanor's romance + other minor changes) is James Dashner's work :) Previous rankings... #1 in Mazerunner #1 in Gally #1 in Scorchtrials #1 in Adventure-Romance
