Nightmare found a young child a long time ago. When they fell into a coma it sent him over the edge. several hundred years later the child wakes up in a castle of darkness, surrounded by people, er... skeletons, that they don't know. Now they are being raised by murderers, cannibals, and world destroyers. Oh yeah! And their Uncle is the god of Death. Fun. Maybe. I mean, this is canon Nightmare after all. But that's the beauty of a fictional story, no? - A lot of the symbolism and hidden meanings aren't obvious, so you might have to be on the lookout to see them (and keep in mind: Night doesn't openly show many emotions, so the devil is in the details) - I'm not going to spoil anything, but for all you anxious readers out there like me, I'll divulge I'm a sucker for happy endings *wink* - It's my interpretation of the characters (kept as canon as possible)

There's only one rule for those capable of AU hopping: never bring a real person into the Undertale multiverse. But, like all rules, it was destined to be broken. | - Error Sans x Female Reader - Young Error - take places not long after he becomes Error - so he mimics his canon version more closely at the start before molding into my fanon version with experience - This intentionally doesn't follow the exact plot of Aftertale either - Achingly slow burn - I abuse Y/n more than necessary (oops) and Error is toxic pre-character development. This isn't meant to portray a perfectly healthy relationship, but show that perhaps even the worst person can change - The friendship dynamic is: bffs that insult each other for fun (while not meaning a word of it) & I include a lot of what's deemed 'filler' content b/w Y/n & Error (y'all just 'hanging out') bc there has to be a solid foundation for Error of all people to care about someone else - Expect a heaping helping of banter 👍 (I couldn't help myself)

You will see that the sanses aren't too hostile, because that's the way I see them and what would be the fun if they kill you at first sight?)

Y/n was always in love with the underwater world. So in love that they brought the deepest and most unknown creatures to the overworld. The reader spends their time with dealing with a couple of 8 creatures while trying to keep them a secret from the overworld. It is hard to consider that they are ready to eat every human head off that stands against the reader. (This is my first English stroy and the merman idea was just an inspiration from an ilustration that I saw from @ ) [This story is under development into turning it into genderneutral, please be patient!]
