Als Ron im Zaubereiministerium anfing zuarbeiten hatte er nie Zeit für dich. Ron' Gedanken hingen, nach der Arbeit, nur an Partys, Saufen und am rumgrabschen bei dir (Hermine). Dein Gedulsfaden ist vorm reißen und du entscheidest dich dazu ihn zu verlassen. Der Krieg ist vorbei und das Goldene Trio tritt sein letztes Jahr in Hogwarts an. Ein unverhoffter Besuch von Albus bringt Severus Leben völlig durcheinander. Nicht das er schon genug Probleme gehabt hätte. Er kommt an einem Punkt im Leben an, an dem er sich mit sich selbst und seinen Gefühlen auseinandersetzten muss. Eine schier unlösbare Aufgabe schweißt ihn mit Hermine zusammen.

Ein neues Schuljahr beginnt und Hermine Grangers Tochter Freya ist nun alt genug um nach Hogwarts zu gehen. Dort begegnet sie niemand anderem als Severus Snape. Freya hat eine große Abneigung gegen ihn und das lässt sie den grummeligen Tränkemeister nur zu oft spüren, vor allem als sie ihn mit ihrer Mutter erwischt. Doch was Freya noch nicht weiß, dass ihr verhasster Lehrer niemand anderes als ihr Vater ist. Dieser kann sich allerdings nicht wirklich daran erinnern, mit Hermine die Nacht verbracht zu haben und Hermine versucht lange ihr Geheimnis für sich zu behalten, was leider zu mehr Problemen führt und die Beziehung von Hermine und Severus auf eine harte Probe stellt. Hermione Granger, solo necesitaba un remo, algo de que sostenerse cuando su barco se naufragara, necesitaba no perderse, lo sabía, lo podía sentir y cada vez que lo hacía, lo recordaba a él, como jamás la eligió, como nunca fue su primera opción. El amor cambia a una persona, aún más si dejas de luchar y solo te entregas como un pecador pidiendo perdón a su dios.

Harry insiste en que Hermione le cuente a Severus Snape quien le salvó la vida en de la casa de los gritos. Pero la bruja se niega, no está dispuesta a contárselo. No era necesario para ninguno de los dos que se supiera, a pesar de lo que su amigo pudiese opinar. No quería contárselo, ella sólo quería seguir con su vida y disfrutar de su último año tranquila; o no tan tranquila...
