Louis Tomlinson. A normal name of a normal guy. You'd think that, but it's far from the truth. Louis is the leader of the most wanted Gang in the United Kingdom. Whenever people hear the name 'Black Devils' their blood freezes in their veins. They deal with drugs, they kill people, they don't give a shit about the law. Harry Styles is a successful detective. He has a remarkable resume and an amazing arrest count. But there is one person he had never managed to catch. One person he is chasing for two years now. When Harry Styles was accepted into a post-grad degree, he knew he could no longer afford his flat, leaving him with three options: 1) Move back into student halls. 2) Become homeless. 3) Move in with his best (and only) friend, Niall, and three of Niall's other mates. He went with the third option. But it was a close race. Shame one of his roommates reminded him why he only has one friend. If there is one thing Louis Tomlinson can't stand, it's pretentious tossers, having grown up around enough of them. If there is one thing he can't live without, it would be his friends. So he was proper thrilled to move in with his best mates and a couple of other lads. That was until he discovered one of them was the archetype for a pretentious tosser. In the interest of seeing out the twelve-month lease without killing each other, they both try (debatable) to get along despite believing they are opposite in almost every conceivable way, each having the communication skills of a cucumber, and secrets that have no business be kept secret.

Falling for his best friend was possibly the worst thing that could ever happen to Louis. Especially when they made a promise not to do so, but Louis couldn't seem to keep it from happening. Ending up with a broken heart when Harry suddenly turns up to be in a relationship overnight. - Or AU where Louis and Harry used to be more than friends, but everything had to change the day Harry introduces Louis to his new girlfriend.

Louis attends a university, where he has to follow two simple rules. 1) Don't make friends. They only distract you 2) Don't have a girlfriend. But no one warned him about the annoying Harry Styles, the protective and responsible Liam Payne or the babbly, chatty Niall Horan, who brings up food in every conversation. And of course, his roommate Zayn Malik, who seems to have a weird past with a girl from his hometown. First of all, he never followed the rules and he broke the first one immediately and second of all, no one said anything about boyfriends and the curly, green-eyed boys with the attitude, the looks and the weird clothes is more of a temptation and distraction for Louis, than any girlfriend could be.
