I'm overwhelmed with joy, tears streaming down my face as my body is overcome with brutal exhaustion. I don't plan on using this power to become a hero, but All Might doesn't need to know that. I can't think of being a hero, or anything else for now. I need to get stronger, even stronger than my father. Wait for me mom, Kacchan, I'm coming. ~~ After that night, things only became harder for Izuku. The mental pressure was too much, to the extent that it took an unhealthy turn. Izuku could barely handle the pressure of having no one to rely on, torn between becoming a hero and being taught how to assassinate by the killer of heroes. It wasn't long before his sanity began to split. ~~ "It's okay. Honestly, you're the first person I've met who doesn't think my quirk is more suited to become a villain.." Shinsou said. After spending so much time with villains, I no longer thought of the word the same. "If you ask villains their story, you'll probably think they'd make pretty good protagonists. We always see things from the hero's perspective but we rarely ask how the villain ended up the way they are. The heroes are the real villains if you ask any villain, and even villains can be a hero to someone." ~~ I killed someone. I know he deserved it, yet I still couldn't look down at my own hands the same. Dried blood covered the bandages I wore around my wrists when I train with Stain. I had no choice but to accept it. I became a hero killer.

With his mother in the hospital for attempted suicide, his father wanting nothing to do with him, and his grandmother not qualified to take care of a child, Izuku is thrust into foster care. Now struggling with school, his mother's attempt and sickness, and a not-so-friendly home life, Izuku's stuck, and its hard to keep up a smile. And he meant it. He'd be coming back for his little brother, he wouldn't leave the poor six year old in this hellhole of neglect. He became a pro for a reason. Izuku nodded and slowly let go of his pant leg, giving him one last hug. Shouta would come to regret not making that hug later. When he walked out the door, the view of his six year old little brother would be the last time he saw those bright green eyes for six more years. izuku midoriya, a quirkless boy who's dream has always been to be a hero. he was smart, smarter than the average boy his age and a very good strategist. izuku had been bullied severally by almost everyone he came across including his childhood best friend, katsuki, he was izuku's worst tormenter. izuku's home life wasn't the best either, izuku's mother was abusive and a drunk. the only person who cared about izuku was his father, Hizashi midoriya lived in America, he and izuku kept in contact but izuku never told his father about his home life, not wanting to be a burden. that was until one day... it was the last day of middle school, izuku was already having a bad day but katsuki apparently couldn't leave him alone for even one day. I don't really get where the idea of this hero vs villain excercise comes from.... but Hawks, you are the best... only con... I need to find a way to get the villain role because clearly I was destined to lead the heroes. For me it was obvious the moment they all started announcing the war game that I would get the role of a hero. Who would give me the role of a villain anyways? BUT! I want it! I want it soo badly!
