Nathan Arrhenius died once. Waking up again as a fantasy kingdom's least beloved prince was not part of the plan. Armed with an unreliable Guide and incomplete memories of a novel he never finished, Nathan is given a single, abstract objective: save the villain of the novel, Caleb Beirne, who just so happened to be a massive asshole. There's just one tiny little problem. The story is no longer unfolding the way it should. At the royal Academy, relations between nobles and commoners are beginning to fracture. The Church tightens its grip as forbidden magic resurfaces within a revolution. Students enter the Academy with ulterior motives. And every attempt Nathan makes to fix things seems to drag him further from his goal. As Nathan will come to realize, the villain isn't the only one who needs saving.
