Ye well, this is my take on the Hiccup runaway stories. Yk the story, he's the runt of the village, no one loves him until he gets good at dragon training out of nowhere. 3 years after his apparent death, there are rumours of a masked vigilante. No one knows their origin or identity. But he is a danger to viking life as we know it. Berk decides to go out searching for an alliance, but in a turn of events, Astrid is shipwrecked onto an island she presumed was uninhabited... it wasn't. What will she do when she comes face to face with her mortal enemy? Who may not be as bad as she thinks.

What happens when: 1. Get hit with a new type of arrow made by Vigo 2. Somehow managed to get turned into a dragon 3. And your friends don't know it Guess what? That's what happened to Snotlout and Hiccup. So will they somehow get the cure or will there be some minor hiccups along the way? Don't question me. After discovering the cause of the dragon raids in the Archipelago, Hiccup and Toothless slay the Red Death, but not before the young Haddock promises Astrid that he'll return one day stronger than ever before. It would take fifteen years for the young dragon rider to return, for he has been forged into a man, in a land called Persia, where he learns how to fight, lead armies/people, learn politics and other necessary skills. But during his time away from Berk, Hiccup makes powerful allies and enemies. An ancient evil is once again reawakened; demons called the Djinn. The Djinn have taken both man and dragons to increase their ranks to create an untouchable dark army, their leader Ghul, thirst for vengeance and darkness has consumed his reason, sense and conscience. Now Hiccup and a group of young men and women called 'The Inquisitors' are tasked to end the Djinn plague as it makes its way to the North... The Archipelago. Hiccup along with the Inquisitors and half of the imperial Persian army travel North, they must stop the Djinn in their tracks before they lay waste to humanity.

You have likely seen it all before, Hiccup gets chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare but instead of staying to try and prove to his village dragons aren't the monsters they think they are, he leaves. Abandons the world he knows for a world of possibility, a world where he can be him, be free. What if he is one day discovered by a group of dragon riders and chose to join them as they had adventure after adventure. It would be a good life but of course it would never stay so happy, things would change sometimes for the better sometimes for worse. Old scars would surface, old lives reappear and new faces vanish, how would this affect him. Well shall we find out? I don't own the How To Train Your Dragon franchise of course and this is all done for fun. You know the legal stuff. I also don't own the image, I got it off of google as one could expect. For now the story isn't Mature though this may change in the future as I continue so I will make sure to change that if it becomes necessary, just an early warning just in case I break a guideline.

Astrid is a Sophomore in high-school, living in the historic city of Berk. Her grades are failing and she has two options: find a tutor and possibly destroy her reputation as the most popular girl in school, or be assigned one and never play a school sport again. Little does Astrid know, that an option three is going to present itself soon. One day on her way home from school a handsome but gimpy stranger runs out of an alley and knocks her over. This stranger is quickly followed by three men in black suits who are asking if anyone has seen the boy. A week later Astrid manages to locate the boy and she confronts him about his identity. Turns out this gimpy boy's name is Hiccup, and he is under the constant protection of the FBI. See, Hiccup is a technological genius and the worlds greatest hacker, he is being hunted by Gang Lords so that they may posses his genius and use it for evil purposes. That's not even mentioning the dragon he is protecting after it was thawed out of an iceberg. Maybe this Genius is just what Astrid needs, and maybe he needs her just as much. Who else could successfully keep him out of trouble? Certainly not the FBI!

*COMPLETE* Stoick the vast disowns his son, Hiccup, when he finds out that he has sided with the dragons. Hiccup and Toothless escapes from execution, and plans to never come back. But fate has other plans, as Hiccup returns five years later , and finds out he has to save the dragons from both, Berk and the Red Death. But he also has to save his own life, including Berk from a new enemy., Stoick wants his son to stay home, but what he doesn't realize is that Hiccup isn't 'Hiccup' anymore. He's a whole different person. That is not Stoick's son. "Dad?" Hiccup calls. "Yeah." Stoick whispers, peaking his head into his son's room. "..I love you."
