As they wait in the grand courtyard, Vi notices a young girl, Caitlyn, watching them from a distance. Curious and defiant, Vi calls out to her, sparking a brief but memorable exchange. Caitlyn, intrigued by Vi's boldness and raw demeanor, responds with quiet confidence, admitting her curiosity about the tough Zaunite. The interaction is brief, interrupted by Vander's call to enter the council chambers, but it leaves a lasting impression on both girls. Vi walks away, glancing back at Caitlyn, who continues to watch her with interest. Though their worlds are vastly different, this chance encounter plants the seed of an unlikely bond that will grow as they mature, setting the stage for a deeper connection in the future.

I think, like everyone who watched the series, I fell ridiculously in love with Arcane-especially with this even more ridiculous couple, Vi and Caitlyn. When the show ended, all that was left was emptiness, and I wanted more. So, I started writing stories for myself-continuations, missing moments, and everything in between. I've written over ten chapters covering more than a year after the war in the final episode of Arcane's second season. But I'm still way too insecure to post them. So, I'll start with just a little snippet-their first official Valentine's Day as a couple. I imagine it takes place almost a year after the war, with them already engaged (a little fast, right?? But I feel like the political pressure of going public with their relationship probably sped things up). Besides, I truly believe they are hopelessly in love with each other. A series of loosely connected oneshots, depicting scenes from the life of Caitlyn and Vi in the following few months after Arcane season 2. Some are just blatant slice-of-life fluff, and some have a bit more going on narratively, dealing with stuff like Caitlyn's dad, Vi's drinking habits, the couple's home, Vi's job, etc. I don't want to break the universe, nor build on it too much, so don't expect huge events or many AU chapters. This work is starting to turn into a bit of an anthology, sometimes with wildly different chapters regarding tone, so the last chapter is the Table of Contents with short summaries to make taking your pick easier. Left to live in the shadows of her castle, her father only worried about teaching her what he believed was important to rule. He didn't remarry to try for a son, bitter and more powerful than ever. Because he had nothing to lose, not even his own daughter at times. Caitlyn and him drifted apart even more than they were before. Especially as he started treating her solely as an object for his use. Leading her to need some type of escape, some type of fun again. And as her skills in her shot, her strength, and her wit increased. So did her confidence and her will to win, leading her to start sneaking out of the castle gates. Almost every night scaling the buildings and walls to watch the night life in the upper city. Until one night when an incident occurs, causing her to accidentally run into someone. Revealing herself to a complete stranger. Knowing full well that a predicament would arise if that ever happened, she fumbles her way through compromise and bargains to get off easy. The people of The Underground were never the luckiest pair. Only a special few were lucky, lucky enough to get the privileges of the topside. The (L/n)s were an example of such lucky people of Zaun. But even then they wouldn't be safe in Piltover. Vander, the brother of the woman who married (F/n) (L/n), warned his sister that they wouldn't be safe and how right he was when the family was murdered by corrupted enforcers. The child managed to defend himself but even it was self defense, it wouldn't be seen that way to the people of Piltover. They accused the boy for murdering just for the heck of it. But it was in that particular moment the boy knew that the topside will always think their better then the Underground. And with that knowledge he swore to avenge his parents by detroying the councilors of the oh so great Piltover. After escaping a death sentence and leaving his first love and friend behind, he seeks for his uncle in Zaun's Undercity and hopes to avenge his parents when he gets stronger.
