After 4 years at a NYC Art School, Adora has moved back home to Seattle to open a local shop with her mother and to repair the broken relationships she left behind. This includes ex-best friend, Catra, who's life now consists of playing guitar in her cover band, being a loyal girlfriend to her SO and lead singer Scorpia, and hating Adora's guts. Despite their rocky past, the pair are reunited and find their emotions go deeper than once thought. Adora and catra were best friends in the horde ( the adoption center) but then adora got adopted and moved to a different state. Adora comes back and tries to reunite with catra. Will catra want to be friends with her again? Or will she push her away like she does with everyone else??

This story is ✨finished✨ Catra just can not stay away. Sure she's second in command, she's like totally beating the rebellions ass, but god damn. She really misses Adora. So what do you do. You sneak in to her room, duh. Adora has been staying up all night. It's impossible to sleep in her new environment. So instead she waits by her window like a locked up princess and just ponders. Mostly about catra. It's a problem. She just can't help it.

Catra and Adora are childhood best friends, they grew up in the orphanage together. They did everything together; eat, sleep, sing, they were joint at the hip. They always said they would go to college together get their degrees and get out of the hell hole that was Horde Academy. So what happens when Adora is offered a scholarship to a prestigious school that she can't turn down.
