Twenty years ago, she and Azriel built a family. Now their son is grown-armed with shadows like his father, wings that carry him into trouble, and a reckless streak that keeps the entire Night Court on edge. The Inner Circle laughs, Azriel pretends not to worry, and she can only watch as the sweet boy she once held becomes something far more dangerous. But families are never simple-not in Velaris, and certainly not in a house full of shadows. Between unexpected news, restless nights, bruised knuckles, and a son determined to prove he's no longer a child, their home becomes a place of chaos, laughter, and quiet moments that mean everything.

It was a known fact: the veil between the worlds was getting thinner and thinner, so the possibility of a crash was already a certainty. The rumors started a long time ago, but no one did anything to stop it. Fortunately, time passed, we went through wars and race exterminations, but the Faerie Realms and the Mortal Lands remained almost the same, some richer and some poorer. Nobody was talking about the fallen, until now, when the fates started working their old, wicked magic and gave us an early Summer Soltice gift: an unprepared girl who was sent tumbling from the sky. Tumultuous and dangerous. Bitter and heart-rending. This is the story of the Evening Star, of the young woman who wields the Sun in her hands and wears the Moon upon her throat. Of the Cursed Crown, which bows to no master it does not choose. And of the man born of shadows, irrevocably bound to her by the tongue of death itself. And, in the end, it is also the story of us: the nothingness that reached, at last, for something greater than ruin. I am the Bloody Blade, former leader of the first legion, last of my kind, banished and tormented by dark memories and here is the beginning of our story. 𓆩✴𓆪 Content Warning: This story contains explicit sexual content (including consensual and non-consensual elements), graphic violence, trauma, and mature themes. Reader discretion is advised. 𓆩✴𓆪 This is a slow-burn story. The protagonists do not meet immediately, and the beginning focuses heavily on worldbuilding and character development.

LiaLina- "tbh, the fact that i almost scrolled past this absolute masterpiece of a book should be considered a crime. Also that I only clicked on it because of the turtle" The worst thing you will do is not give it a chance! I know, I know. It's an original character with Azriel. But does Elain, Eris, or Gwyn have a super awesome pet turtle? I didn't think so. Novalie does... and she also has a ton of other secrets (ones she doesn't even know about). She also makes Azriel pretty happy. And desperate. And sappy. And touch her and ☠️. And.. Azriel and her pet turtle turn out to be bff. I think. So far... I mean at one point they have a moment where I wasn't sure who was going to win.. but they do work it out. First there was The Shadows Between Stars now There's The Crown of Dusk... The Crown of Dusk is rising. The Night Court believes the war is over. But something ancient has begun to wake. Across Prythian, monsters gather. Illyrians rebel. Creatures long imprisoned begin to move. All of them following a whisper. A name. Ariella. As the truth of her power unfolds and the lost Dusk Court stirs. Ari must face a terrifying reality. Some crowns are not chosen. Some are claimed. And the power growing inside her may destroy the very people she loves most. The Shadows Between Stars will continue in Book Two. First Chapter out now. They called her the Mad One long before she ever broke. Born into the Night Court with the mark of the Cauldron glowing faintly over her heart, Nerai was never meant to survive. Her father's cruelty forged her power; his torment made her silence infamous. By five, she could command air with a glance. By six, she'd accidentally killed ten courtiers who mocked her mother. By ten, her name was spoken only in whispers - a warning to children of what happened when gods answered too loudly. But Nerai was not mad. She was merely awake. And when war came for her family, it was not death that claimed her - it was the Cauldron itself. Drawn into its depths, her body vanished, her memories stripped away. The Night Court mourned a daughter lost to legend. Centuries later, Prythian trembles. Magic fractures, and silence spreads like a sickness across the courts. The whispers begin again: the Mad One walks. A woman with white hair and silver eyes emerges from the ruins of a forgotten temple - calm, otherworldly, powerful enough to unmake reality with a thought. She does not remember who she was. But the Cauldron does. When Rhysand sends Azriel to trace the strange magic devouring the land, he finds what no one believed possible - the High Lord's sister, alive, unaging, and changed into something beyond mortal or fae. And as the world begins to unravel, one truth becomes clear: the Mad One has returned, and this time, even silence may not save them.
