The tragedy had a cause, and the horror... never faded. Over a hundred years ago, an entire village was destroyed from within. The survivors spoke only of pain and horror, all directed towards that mansion. James Bertram has been called upon to investigate what others prefer to ignore, but his story will take a turn the moment he takes his first step through the gate. The dead will rise again, and there will be no escape but death.

Civilization was a plague. A sickness that infected the world with violence and injustice. The greed of large companies, the hatred ever present in the hearts of humanity, the falsities of security and justice, the perversion of morality and honor. It was all gone now. Reduced to rubble. The humans prided themselves on their intelligence and creativity, as the march of progression moved ever forward. If only they had known that in the end, it was their pride which would one day destroy them. And from the ashes of humanity, a new way of life was born in the form of the human's own creations, and destroyers. The A.I. And the humans that remained, lived like insects. Scrounging, foraging, hiding, barely surviving. Darting from cover to cover, watching the skies, living under their rocks, just praying that they might live for another day. I once found them to be disgusting. Like leeches, sucking the life from their host, the Earth. I once believed that we A.I. were the only beings able to live in harmony with nature. But this isn't about me. This is about how a single human united a broken people and rose to take their world back. (Rated Mature for scenes of graphic violence and gore)
