Sophie Foster, Biana Vacker, Fitz Vacker, and Dex Dizznee have been friends before they could remember. But Sophie moved when she was 8, but then she moves back to San Francisco. Sophie had always had a crush on Fitz but could never tell him. When she moves back, Fitz has a girlfriend and she's heartbroken. What will happen? Read on to find out. All characters, except the ones you don't recognize are Shannon Messenger. This is a Human AU so there will be no abilities.

Fitz Vacker is the captain of the football team, dating the most popular cheerleader, and has the life pretty much every high school boy wants. Everyone at school wants to be his best friend. But he can't help feeling that everything is wrong. That's when he meets Sophie Foster. Sophie Foster has always been alone in her life, but now she has new friends who actually care. She should be thrilled and excited, but somehow she still feels alone. Maybe it's because she feels as if she can't truly be herself around them, for fear they may not like her anymore. But when she meets Fitz Vacker, everything changes. Immediately she feels something. A spark. Something unexplainable. She never believed in true love, but now she was having second thoughts...

In the end of Legacy instead of returning to being friends, Sophie and Fitz go back to dating each other.
