18+ only #1 in Marriage of Convenience [July 2024] "The fewer people that know the truth the better. And if this all goes smoothly, you two will be able to get divorced before the hockey season ends." "I have the places where you both will sign," His eyes lifted and scanned both of us. "But only of course, if you both agree to this." "I'll do it," I said honestly. Minnow sighed outwardly and bit her bottom lip. "If you need more time-" "No," she swallowed, staring at the thick packet in front of us. "I feel like this goes without saying but...no sex. Of any kind. It only complicates things." My cheeks flushed with heat, probably turning pink and Minnow choked. "We won't..." I shook my head, clenching my jaw. Shivers crossed my back. "You don't have to worry about that," Minnow said obviously. "Trust me." ***************************************** Minnow Noel is known for two things: being a hot head and an amazing figure skater. Running from a dark relationship and a past version of herself, she ends up where her skating career all started. Norwegian native Søren Skejeggstad's only focus in life is hockey. With no time for women or a personal life, his only goal is to become the top NHL all-star. But when a major problem arises, he's at risk of losing his dreams if he doesn't figure something out. They were once friends in a past life but now things are cold as ice between them. Just the thought of Søren alone makes Minnow's blood run cold and he'd rather avoid her at all costs. But now an opportunity presents itself and wait...can they get along for a little while or will they end up killing each other before their agreement is through? Started: September 2023 Completed: June 2024

PAUL I cheated on my fiancée. Sophie and I were building our future. In love, happy, peaceful. Then she found a lump in her breast, and I made the worst choice: I numbed my fear by sleeping with someone else. My worst mistake and my biggest regret. Now I see Sophie around town with him. She's radiant and laughing with people who actually show up. I'm trying to learn how to be a man who does. If she lets me, I'll spend the rest of my life proving I can choose her when it's hardest. If she lets me... SOPHIE I thought the promise was in sickness and in health. But he buried his fear in someone else. On the same night, I walked into a bookstore and met the gentle giant owner, who invited me to his book club full of misfits. I'm laughing again, I'm smiling more than I ever have, and I'm healing my heart. My bookstore owner keeps showing up like it's as easy as breathing. I don't know what the future holds; I don't know if I'll win this battle against cancer, but I do know I'm done wasting time on people who love only when it's easy. CALLUM She came into Rivers & Rhodes Bookstore and asked for books with happy endings only. I gave her a recommendation, an invitation, and an offer of friendship. Now, this beautiful, brave woman is completely under my skin. I'm not here to win a competition against him. I'm here because choosing someone, second by second, is the only way I understand love. 12/10/25 - Currently undergoing edits.

Solienne (n.) - a name evoking sunlight after ruin; the quiet resilience of something lost, yet still burning. Isabella Moretti was kidnapped when she was three years old. She doesn't remember the brothers who loved her. And they don't know the girl she's become. Living under a new name in a quiet city, Isabella is a survivor-sharp-eyed, secretive, and always prepared to run. But when she transfers to a prestigious academy, two of the school's most feared students take notice: Antonio and Francesco Moretti. Cold, calculating, untouchable-until now. They don't know why they're drawn to her. Why she feels like something familiar. Why their guarded silence begins to crack around her laugh, her pain, her presence. They have no idea she's the sister they've mourned for years. And Isabella? She has no idea she's walking straight back into the family that never stopped searching. Solienne is a story of blood that remembers, even when memory doesn't-of lost things finding their way home, and love that endures even when the truth is buried in silence.

14-year-old Aria is in the foster system and has what most people like to call "an attitude problem." In her eyes, it's not an 'attitude'-it's survival. Sarcasm is her shield, silence is her weapon, and if she rolls her eyes hard enough, maybe no one will notice the way her hands shake when doors slam too loud. She's been with her current foster family for the past five years, and their abuse has been the worst of them all. The kind that hides behind locked doors and perfect smiles for the neighbors. The kind that teaches you not to flinch in public, but never lets your bruises fade in private. ♬⋆.˚ Aria doesn't cry anymore-she learned young that tears only made them angrier. Instead, she grits her teeth, sharpens her tongue, and waits for the day she can get out. Her social workers call her "difficult." Teachers call her "disruptive." But really, she's just a girl with scars people don't bother to see, carrying secrets she's too smart to share. What no one knows -not even Aria- is that the blood running through her veins carries a legacy far darker and more powerful than anything this foster family could imagine. A legacy that comes with 5 brothers who would quite literally burn the world for her
