He could not kill it, he wouldn't kill it knowing himself having one of them as his own, never the less, he was afraid of losing his only best friend, Toothless. He would never trust and look at him the same way. So he decided to take matters into his on hands by running away or flying away from berk, not the best move but knowing he was know as the village runt or the Chief's screwup and would always get beat up for no valid reasons by his cousin and his friends, sure he pass every training with a prefect score but he still did not get the respect that he deserve from the villagers. If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this? Hiccup was declared Killed-in-Action during a naval battle between the Berk fleet and a fleet of slaver warships. He was called 'Useless' by everyone. People would beat him up daily while those that did not would just watch and not interfere. He could have let Astrid die that night. Everyone saw him push her overboard and were about to attack him but stopped when the wall around Hiccup was hit by a spray of bullet and blood was seen falling on the ground in front of him as he took support of a railing before it gave away and he fell into the abyss of the ocean. Astrid tried to save him but he stopped her from doing so. He was rescued by a ship and survived. 5 years later, Berk is under the greatest threat it has ever seen and Hiccup has decide to whether his personal feeling will determine will determine the faith of his former home or not. All characters belong to DreamWorks and Cressida Cowell. There will be certain similarities to other stories and some inspiration taken from 'To Mend A Valkyrie's Heart' and 'Captain Fury: Pirate of Berk'.

Ye well, this is my take on the Hiccup runaway stories. Yk the story, he's the runt of the village, no one loves him until he gets good at dragon training out of nowhere. 3 years after his apparent death, there are rumours of a masked vigilante. No one knows their origin or identity. But he is a danger to viking life as we know it. Berk decides to go out searching for an alliance, but in a turn of events, Astrid is shipwrecked onto an island she presumed was uninhabited... it wasn't. What will she do when she comes face to face with her mortal enemy? Who may not be as bad as she thinks.

Since the battle with the Red Death, Viking and Dragons lived in harmony, thanks to two misfits: a scrawny boy named Hiccup, and the mightiest species of dragon known to Vikings, a disabled Night Fury called Toothless. Once the duo defeated the madman Drago Bludvist, their friendship became stronger than ever. Now, accidentally travelling through a tear in time, they must fix the future when the pair's presence changes their past from five years ago, when they found each other in the woods. Without their friendship, Valka remains dead to Berk. Without their friendship, the great, winged beasts remain enslaved by the Red Death. Without Hiccup and Toothless' friendship, the peace between Vikings and Dragons is non-existent. This is the story about an unexpected bond between Viking and Dragon. Hiccup has a long ride as he has to be accepted as chief and prove himself worthy and with fellow dragons riders, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut and of course, Astrid and their trusty dragons, he knows he can do it. Things are looking up for the Berkians, but Odin has other plans. The return of old faces, results in new enemies and the entire village is put into danger by someone unexpected. Who can the Berkians trust, especially when it now seems that everyone is an enemy? And also, what will come of Astrid and Hiccup's love when a green-eyed monster will do everything in her power to break them apart, claim Hiccup and rule Berk for her own?

Berk is in a Battle with the Meathead Tribe and has everyone on edge. Astrid is Berks best Shield Maiden. Hiccup was killed by a dragon at a young age or so they thought. Astrid is traveling with a small group in the woods. She finds a barn to rest and is confronted by a strange figure that needs her help to servive. In return this misterious figure take the group to somewhere safe. Or so they thought. Will they live through the war? Will Astrid discover the boy's identity? find out in this Thriller

Adopted by Cloudjumper when he was eight, Hiccup had been happy to leave his old life behind. But now, ten years later, Cloudjumper insists on his returning to the land of his birth. Even though it is only temporary, Hiccup is less than pleased, especially as some things clearly haven't changed. But, as he soon finds out, the journey was not made in vain. He used to make crazy inventions to kill dragons as he couldn't lift a sword to do the task himself, but unfortunately, that did more damage than good. Thus, being a fishbone was enough of an excuse for every Viking on the island to bully, hurt, mistreat, and insult him. Astrid Hofferson the strongest Viking their age falls in love with him as they both run away to start a new life of peace, until the past catches up with them...
