Ava is a sixteen year old girl whose summer job is one thing. Simple: Take care of her thirteen year old brother Alex. They lost their dad in a fire a little while ago, and their family dynamic has shifted in an unfavorable way. Due to his antisocial lock-myself-in-my-room behavior and her apparent 'attitude', they're sent off to a summer camp. She doesn't mind it, it'll get her away from her mother. Ava and Alex don't expect much besides bad campfire stories and annoying bug bites.
